    Armenian nationals saved from drowning in Georgia’s Kobuleti

    Rescuers in Adjara’s Kobuleti brought out of water two tourists, who were not able to swim out to the beach due to the large waves.

    The tourists, who were rescued, turned out to be Armenian nationals, News Georgia reports, citing the Emergency Management Agency of the Georgian Ministry of Internal Affairs.

    A category 5 storm was registered in the Black Sea coastline on Thursday, According to the information of the Ministry, nearly 100 people were saved during the day.

    “A red flag has been installed in all the coastal stations, which means that swimming in the sea is categorically forbidden. Besides, all the 135 rescuers personally warn the holiday-goers to refrain from swimming in the sea,” the Emergency Management Agency informed.
